About Me

 Hi I'm Rick.

Since childhood, I've felt a magnetic pull toward the arts. My early years in the landscapes of Papua New Guinea during the vibrant mid-1950s instilled in me a profound appreciation for color and the organic beauty of nature. Art has been a constant companion throughout my life, manifesting in various forms and mediums.

In the 1990s, I established and managed an exclusive Art Studio in Woolloongabba, Brisbane, where my focus was crafting bespoke Slump Glass and Wrought-Iron Chandeliers and Wall Lights.

Transitioning into the 2000s, I pursued a Master’s Degree in Illumination Design at QUT, channeling my expertise into creating awe-inspiring Public Light as Art installations across Australia.

Currently, my creative journey centers on the production of fine art paintings spanning a multitude of styles. From the enigmatic allure of abstracts to the vibrant strokes of impressionism, the simplicity of naïve style, and the precise realism of murals depicting landscapes and European scenes, my work encompasses a diverse spectrum of artistic expressions.
